Enjoy cosy nights in front of the log burner

Inside our glamping domes

The nights are still nice and cool at this time of year which means cosy nights by the log burner.

There is nothing more romantic than lazing in front of a real log fire, the light and heat together make the evenings just perfect. Imagine you and your partner, sitting in front of the fire with your favourite tipple dreaming of the walks you have been on together in the Bluebells.

Firewood is supplied free of charge here at Redhill Holidays so create that romantic atmosphere without worrying about fuel costs.

Glamping in spring is all about nature & wildlife

The morning chorus is such an amazing thing to be woken up to!

Surrounded by woodland and common ground there is certainly no shortage of birdsong to brighten up your day. From the comfort of your private hot tub, you can watch the buzzards soaring high in the sky, listen to the Muntjac deer barking in the woods, and at night listen to the owls chatting away with each other. You can really smell the arrival of spring as the whole area bursts into new life.

Spring is a truly wonderful time of year. The daffodils, snowdrops, and tulips all make an appearance along with the damson and cherry blossom their vibrant colours all saying hello to the warmer weather and longer days ahead.

Try the Bluebell circular walk which takes you past huge bluebell and Foxglove covered woodlands which is truly an amazing sight to behold this time of year.

As the soil warms up you often get the morning mists lying in the valley. This is an amazing sight to see and looks like the hills are islands in the sea.

Another thing to look for, from your private hot tub is the animal shapes formed by trees as the leaves begin to emerge. The horse, elephant, Tyrannosaurus rex, and Dachshund to name but a few. Guests find new animals every year as the trees grow to maturity.

Things to do at Redhill Holidays

There are many walks to do from Redhill Holidays and all are superb in the spring, especially the Bluebell walk. This takes about 2 hours and affords some fantastic views on the way. A slight detour will take you to the Live and Let Live pub on Bringsty common which is a wonderful 17th-century building offering real ales and some superb food to help you on the second leg of your walk.

If you don’t fancy walking you can take the mountain bikes which are free to use or, for the less energetic, there are electric bikes these can be hired for a small fee. Just add them on when you make your booking.

In dome massage at Redhill Holidays

If you really want to relax why not have an in pod massage by Lady Ann Hughes who offers many different treatments which can either be done in the pod or if the weather allows they can be done on the front terrace of the pod where the views and sounds of the spring will further enhance your relaxation.
